
Brett Kadesh
Director
Brett is a Director at Fall Line, focused on identifying technology gaps across the global food value chain. He brings two decades of experience in venture capital, as a startup operator, and in professional services, giving him a unique skill set for early stage investing and LP management. He joined the firm in 2025 and is actively looking to invest in early‑stage technology companies that can transform the food system, leveraging his extensive VC and startup network as well as experience working closely with large corporations.
Prior to Fall Line, Brett was a Managing Director at Cerity Partners Ventures (fka Touchdown Ventures). At Cerity, Brett was the longest tenured team member, helping launch, manage, and advise over $150M in deployable AUM from multiple Corporate VC funds including Kellogg’s eighteen94 capital, Aramark, and Masco Ventures. Prior to Cerity, Brett worked as an operator at an early-stage consumer products company that was backed by Build-A-Bear. Brett started off his career in financial services at Ernst & Young. Brett earned a B.A. in Economics from University of California, Santa Barbara and an MBA from UCLA Anderson. He received technology distinctions from both.
