Eric O'Brien

Eric brings over 18 years of professional investment, financial services, and operating experience. He co-founded Fall Line Capital with Clay Mitchell in 2011. He spent 12 years at Lightspeed Venture Partners, serving as Managing Director overseeing early and growth-stage investments in technology and services across the U.S. and China. From 2004-2006, he identified the opportunity to expand into China, sourced the firm's first regional investment, led strategic planning, relocated to Shanghai to establish an office, and built the local team. Previously, he was an Associate at InterWest Partners focused on communications, internet, and consumer investments. He started his career as an Analyst in mergers & acquisitions and corporate finance at Morgan Stanley. He holds an AB in Economics magna cum laude from Harvard College and an MBA from Stanford Graduate School of Business.
