Giulia Stellari

Giulia is responsible for codifying the firm's leading position in sustainable farmland management and oversees ESG vetting for portfolio companies. She previously led global sustainable procurement initiatives at Unilever, managing programs that impacted farms in more than 30 different countries across diverse crops. At Unilever, she developed the company's digital agriculture strategy in partnership with major tech firms to enhance supply chain transparency, and spearheaded supplier greenhouse gas reduction and renewable energy commitment programs. Earlier in her career, she founded and led AgSquared, a farmer-focused technology platform helping producers optimize farm profitability and sustainability practices. She holds a Ph.D. in Plant Molecular Biology and Genetics from Cornell University and an A.B. summa cum laude in Biology from Harvard University. She serves on the board of the Cool Farm Alliance.
