
Scott Day
Director of Agronomy
Scott is a fifth-generation farmer from Manitoba, Canada, and an early advocate of no-till agriculture. Over 25 years, he farmed more than 15 commercial crops on his own operation. Previously, he worked as an agronomist and crop diversification specialist for Manitoba Agriculture, specializing in no-till agriculture and sustainable food production. In that research and extension role, he managed over 2,000 test plots annually across 10 locations and worked with more than 60 different crops. His international experience includes farming in North America, Australia, and Europe, with advisory work for governments, universities, and farm groups in Ireland, UK, Ukraine, and Australia. He has won Zero-till Farmer of the Year and Conservation Farm of the Year awards. He is a regular international conference speaker on crop research and a contributing author to multiple agricultural publications. He holds a BS in Agriculture with honors from the University of Manitoba and a Professional Agrologist designation.
